Hooding Ceremony Instructions for Faculty

Registration

Register for this year's Hooding ceremony and reserve academic apparel if needed by April 1, 2012.   Note that the Hooding Ceremony is to be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM.

Academic Apparel

The Dean’s Office provides academic apparel (gown, tam, and hood) for use by faculty members who will participate in the Hooding Ceremony. You will need to indicate your height, head size, and institution from which you received your doctoral degree on the online registration form. You will need to register online for the Hooding Ceremony no later than April 1, 2012 in order to ensure reservation of your apparel. We cannot guarantee that apparel will be available if you register after this date.

Faculty members who have their own academic apparel are encouraged to wear it; however, be sure to register online to ensure your reservation in the processional.

If you reserve apparel through the Dean of Medicine’s Office (via completion of the online form), then DO NOT RESERVE APPAREL THROUGH THE COMMENCEMENT OFFICE.
