Overview
In preparation for the start of med school, there are a number of administrative tasks you'll need to take care of. These are listed below in the Pre-Arrival Checklist. Please note the response dates indicated.
Pre-Arrival Checklist
Please plan to take care of each of the items on the checklist below by August 1, 2012.
- With receipt of the Enrollment Confirmation Acknowledgement (ECA) establish a UWNet ID and a UW email account.
- Each new student is required to set up an appointment with Hall Health to review their immunizations. To set up an appointment call 206.616.9074. Your appointment should be completed prior to Orientation, preferably in August and you must complete the preregistration form: Complete your Hall Health preregistration paper work.
- Complete your criminal background check
- Complete the Federally mandated HIPAA Training
- Complete your CPR (BLS) Healthcare Provider Training in June, July or August prior to attending Orientation.
- Read the school's computer technology site regarding computer and PDA requirement
- Complete the online Pre-Orientation Survey (Will be ready in June 2012)
