Academic Policies for the MD Degree Academic Policies for the M.D. Degree is an updated and revised compilation of the relevant policies for the University of Washington School of Medicine’s undergraduate medical education program leading to the awarding of the Doctor of Medicine degree.
Academic Progress Academic progress is governed by Academic Affairs within the School of Medicine.
Orientation Orientation programs for new School of Medicine students occur annually in the Summer and Fall at all WWAMI sites. Orientation for 2nd year students occurs prior to the beginning of classes each Fall in Seattle.
