The University of Washington School of Medicine will begin accepting applications for the 2012-2013 academic year on March 1, 2012.
MD students may apply through VSAS, the Visiting Student Application Service. For more information on VSAS, please visit

DO students whose schools are participating in VSAS in 2012-13, may submit applications through VSAS beginning on March 1, 2012.
Canadian students and DO students whose schools are NOT participating in VSAS in 2012-13 may submit the paper application by clicking on the 'DO & Canadian Students' link below.
Applications must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the elective start date in order to be considered.

Credit for visiting rotations will be issued by the home institution, not by the University of Washington.
