Important Dates for Summer 2008 MSRTP Students
- July 14, 2008
Submit a project progress report via email to Dr. David Fredricks, MSRTP Committee Chair (dfredric@u.washington.edu). One or two paragraphs is sufficient.
- September 24, 2008
If you are interested in applying to attend the Western Student Medical Research Forum in Carmel, CA, submit a half-page abstract of your work for approval to Marcie Buckner at mbuckner@u.washington.edu.
- October 3, 2008
If your abstract has been approved by the School of Medicine, this is the deadline to submit your abstract for the Western Student Medical Research Forum held in Carmel, California (January 28-31, 2009). (Not an MSRTP requirement, but a good idea and a great experience; this year, you will also need to go through a preliminary approval process within the School of Medicine to be eligible to apply.)
- Late October, 2008
Take your poster to the Locke Computer Center (T-271) for proofing and printing. See Instructions for Posters.
- November 13, 2008
Drop your poster off in A-300. Mary will take it to the HUB and set it up for you. (You will be in class.)
- November 17, 2008
Have a great time presenting your work at the Medical Student Poster Session!

- January 23, 2009
Submit your final paper accompanied by a copy of the Sponsor Evaluation Form (PDF 79k). See Instructions for Final Papers.
