The Academic Affairs Office oversees several avenues at the School of Medicine for students to pursue research.
This program provides funded opportunities annually for students to conduct research between their first and second year of medical school. Many students choose to fulfill the School's III requirement through completion of an MSRTP project.
Student Affairs maintains an extensive list of these opportunities, including "year out" experiences such as the HHMI-NIH Research Scholars Program and short-term opportunities such as the RPS/AFAR Medical Student Geriatric Scholars Program.
