Program Directors

It is the goal of the GME  Office to support the program directors in their role as educators in graduate medical education.  This Web site provides useful information and assistance to program directors in support of their responsibilities for directing ACGME-accredited residency/fellowship training programs sponsored by the University of Washington.  It also contains helpful links to a wide variety of additional resources on medical education, accreditation procedures, regulatory requirements, and related matters.

All UW GME program directors are invited to the quarterly Program Directors Meetings, usually the January, April, July, and October.  The purpose of these meetings is two-fold: to conduct business and communication information pertinent to GME issues within the School of Medicine and the primary training sites; and, to provide professional development sessions on selected topics of interest. For further information, please contact Joseph W.
