All residency programs and some fellowship programs participate in the NRMP Match, and require applications to the program be submitted through ERAS. Please refer to the ERAS website for a list of participating specialties and programs, as well as the ERAS Applicant Timeline. If you are applying to a program that does not participate in the Match, please contact the program directly for information on how to apply.
The 2009 Match Participation Agreement states that "programs must act in good faith to provide complete, timely, and accurate information to interviewees" and the institution must ensure that programs provide "a copy of the contract the applicant will be expected to sign if matched to the program if such contract is available, or a copy of the contract currently in use" as well as "all institutional policies regarding eligibility for appointment to a residency position". The 2009-2010 appointment agreements will be finalized and available by January 15, 2009. Please check back here for an update after that time.
