Billings
Site Coordinator: Tersh McCracken, M.D.

The OB/GYN department at Billings Clinic is a 7-physician office offering a range of basic obstetrics & gynecology as well as specialized services including: infertility evaluations, microsurgical procedures, high-risk obstetrics with amniocentesis and ultrasound services. Gynecologic care includes gynecologic urology and oncology. Students rotate among physicians, and at Intermountain Planned Parenthood. The Family Birth Center at Billings Clinic provides single-room maternity care unit.
 
Site Coordinator: James Hinshaw, M.D.

Dr. Hinshaw, in Billings, MT is able to offer students a good learning spectrum in his office, with exposure to colposcopy, vaginal sonography, physical examination and sonohysterography.  Additional experiences are available at the hospital and outpatient surgery centers, including exposure to simple and complicated obstetrics.

Bozeman
Site Coordinator: Tyler Bradshaw, M.D.

Provides the full spectrum of women's health, including gynecological oncology, and reproductive endocrinology.  The practice is adjacent to the 86-bed Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

Havre
Site Coordinator: Suzanne Sweitnicki, M.D.

This OB/GYN rotation in Havre is with the only OB/GYN provider in the group practice at Northern Montana Medical Center. The hospital, Northern Montana Hospital, serves the 10,000 residents in the town of Havre as well as the 16,000 surrounding square miles, for a total of about 30,000 patients. The obstetrical unit is an LDRP set up. This new OB/GYN rotation complements the longstanding Family Medicine rotation, which has been very popular. The town of Havre is close to the Bear Paw Mountains, 40 miles from the Canadian border, and 3.5 hours from Glacier National Park. Amtrak provides daily service to Havre.

Missoula
Site Coordinators: Janice Givler, M.D. and Mark Garnaas, M.D.


Students work with 3 OB/GYNs at the Western Montana Clinic, a mulit-specialty practice.  Students' hospital experience is spent mostly at Community Medical Center, where all Missoula deliveries are performed.  Surgery is done at both Community and St. Patrick Hospital. This site offers a wide variety of experiences, including basic obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and infertility.
