2008 Montana WWAMI Premedical Conference

The second Montana WWAMI Premedical conference was held on April 12th, 2008 at the MSU-Bozeman campus. Around 90 students participated in the event. Participants learned about the application process, financial aid, the MCAT, and other pertinent information about the University of Washington School of Medicine and the WWAMI program. The participants also met with a few current University of Washington WWAMI students from Montana. The next Montana WWAMI Premedical conference will most likely be held in Spring 2010.

Billings Track

Billings now offers all six required third year clerkships so that students can spend their entire third year in billings if desired. For the 2008-2009 year, there are six students doing the track in Billings. Billings also offers 4th year clerkships in neurology and anesthesiology and we are working on adding more 4th year electives so that students can spend more of their 4th year in Billings. Missoula Track

Missoula also offers all six required third year clerkships. For the 2008-2009 year, there are four students doing the track in Missoula. Missoula also offers 4th year clerkships in neurology, anesthesia and opthalmology. More will be added in the future.
