Otolaryngology provides expertise in all aspects of head and neck surgical reconstruction, including comprehensive reconstructive surgery to restore form and function after severe facial trauma or cancer resection. The Otolaryngology staff is also experienced in facial nerve injury management, scar revision, repair of congenital defects, and facial cosmetic procedures, as well as the treatment and rehabilitation of a wide range of voice and swallowing disorders including vocal cord paralysis, dysphonia, vocal cord lesions, post-traumatic laryngeal abnormalities and swallowing disorders.
Otolaryngology works closely with Ophthalmology to treat patients with complex orbital injuries and diseases. The service also includes the expertise to treat post-traumatic hearing and balance disorders.
