PATIENT AND FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER

WHAT'S NEW: We are thrilled to announce that Harborview is the first hospital in the Seattle area to begin free Writing for Wellness workshops, based on Julie Davey's book Writing for Wellness: A Prescription for Healing. Julie is a two-time cancer survivor and college professor who began teaching these classes for her fellow cancer survivors at City of Hope.

This is a focused and directed writing workshop for those who have been touched by trauma, chronic illness, cancer, or any kind of tragedy or loss. No writing experience is necesssary. The workshop consists of four 1.5 hour sessions. THE NEXT CLASS starts Monday, September 8, 2008; 12 -1:30PM. Please call 206-744-2000 to register. Bring your lunch; cookies and coffee served.
