Strength Over Speed Support Group
Weekly, Thursdays 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at at the PFRC.
A peer led group of gay and bixexual men seeking recovery from crystal meth.
AA - Alcoholics Anonymous
- Sundays: 8:00 p.m. at 3WH-109 (open meeting)

- Wednesdays: 12:00 Noon at 401 Broadway First Floor.

Alcohol/Drug Contemplation Group
Support for people who think they might have a problem with alcohol/drugs and want help accessing treatment services, and support in the meantime. Free drop-in groups every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1–2 p.m. at 401 Broadway, Room 1055.

Amputee Support Group
Weekly meetings providing information, guidance and support are open to patients, families, friends, and community members. Tuesdays 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 4 West Hospital Room 73.

Brain Aneurysm Support Group
This group meets welcomes anyone who:
> has been recently diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and is currently undergoing treatment
> has a desire to support a friend or family member who has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and seeks to learn more.
> has suffered from a brain aneurysm, underwent treatment, and is going through the recovery process.
The group will meet every other month from 6-8PM; current dates are August 27 and October 22, 2008. Location is Pat Steel Building, 401 Broadway, Suite 2097, Seattle, WA.

Brain Injury Support Group
For family members of persons who have had a brain injury. Thursdays 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 2 West Hospital Conference Room 81.

Third Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at 8 East Hospital Conference Room

Acquired Brain Injury Support Group
For persons who are recovering from a brain injury. Call for more information - not yet scheduled.
Depressive and Bipolar Support Alliance
A peer-based group for consumers, family, and friends of persons with mental health challenges. It is held the second Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Research and Training Building, across from Harborview Medical Center. Check the readerboard inside for specific classroom location.
There is no formal facilitator, please note.
Also meets 4th Thursdays at 7 -9 pm at the Plaza Cafe University of Washington Medical Center

Neurology Job Club of Harborview’s Neurology Vocational Services Unit
Job Club is part of the Neurology Vocational Services Unit’s job services program. Participants will set job goals and gain support for achieving them.
- Initial orientations (required for new participants) are Tuesdays 10:30 a.m.
- Job club meetings are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 a.m.
The meetings are held at the Patricia Steele Building, 401 Broadway, Seattle. As the building requires identification to access the different floors, patients will be escorted.
Participants are asked to meet first at thke Patricia Steele Building, Office Suite 2088 to find out specific location for the meetings.
