About the Bond Project

Inpatient Expansion Building

The Inpatient Expansion Building, scheduled to open in summer 2008, adds 50 new beds and eight new operating rooms. It is connected to the main campus by a six-story bridge building with family waiting areas and views of Mount Rainier.

Ninth and Jefferson Building

The Ninth and Jefferson Building is a 14-story, multi-purpose high-rise tower that will be home to Harborview Medical Center's expanded specialty services in neurosciences, orthopedics, spine center, sleep center, and global health. In addition, there will be four floors of underground parking and retail space at street level for patients, visitors, and the First Hill community. View WEB CAM of building construction.
