The Harborview Community Relations office handles media relations, marketing and advertising and outreach projects. The staff write and distribute news releases, produce Viewpoint, produce STAT, a weekly internal newsletter, and various publications for physicians and patients.

Susan Gregg-Hanson joined Harborview in January 2001. Susan oversees media relations, publications, outreach and marketing activities for the medical center. Susan is a contact for reporters seeking information about patient conditions. She also works with local and national media to promote Harborview's services and programs.

Peggy Weiss joined Community Relations in May 2002 as a half-time art coordinator. Weiss' responsibilities include developing a comprehensive art program that complements King County's 1% for Art program. She has an extensive background in art administration and most recently was the art curator at Bank of America.
