Our donors come from all walks of life: grateful patients, their family and friends, faculty and staff of the medical center itself. Each has a special reason for wanting to support Harborview. To recognize and acknowledge our individual donors, we introduce the following annual giving clubs.
- Dean's Circle ($25,000 and above)
- Ambassador ($10,000 to $24,999)
- Champion ($5,000 to $9,999)
- Patron ($2,500 to $4,999)
- Steward ($1,000 to $2,499)
- Sponsor ($500 to $999)
- Advocate ($250 to $499)
- Partner ($100 to $249)
- Supporter ($1 to $99)
Annual donors are credited for gifts given between July 1 and June 30 of each fiscal year and recognized in the following year for total gifts to the UW Medicine (UW School of Medicine, UW Medical Center, and Harborview Medical Center). Annual Giving Club benefits at each level are cumulative. Through events and publications, we hope to keep our Annual Giving Club members informed about the many activities and initiatives through which we pursue our mission of outstanding patient care, teaching, research and community service.
The UW acknowledges donors at the following levels of recognition:
- The President's Club is comprised of donors who have made an annual gift of $2,000 or more to any UW school, college, campus, or program.
- UW Benefactors are donors whose outright or deferred gifts are valued at $100,000 or more. This recognition may be gained through gifts in a single year or through cumulative giving to the UW within a ten-year period.
- The Henry Suzzallo Society honors individuals who have provided for a future gift to the UW through a bequest under a will or trust, life insurance or retirement plan beneficiary designation, or similar revocable deferred gift commitment.
Publications
Harborview donors who give $100 or more are acknowledged on the Honor Roll of Contributors in the hospital's Annual Report. As Harborview is a UW teaching hospital, all our donors are also recognized by UW.
The UW Medicine Report to Donors acknowledges donors who have given $100 or more cumulatively to the UW School of Medicine, UW Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center.
The UW Report to Contributors is published each year and sent to all donors who have given $1,000 or more.
