Volunteers are important members of the Harborview team. Each year, more than 400 individuals volunteer throughout the hospital in areas such as the Emergency Department, the UW Medicine Burn Center at Harborview, Radiology, and the Children and Teens Clinic. These experiences expose them to the real-life activities of a high-volume regional medical center.
Many volunteers also contribute their time to our Community Service Projects such as the Children’s Holiday Party, Take Your Teen To Work Day, and ICU Family Holiday Dinners.
Harborview’s volunteers contribute more than 50,000 hours of service annually!
