How to become a Harborview Volunteer:

Follow these 3 easy steps!


 

Step 1: Application

  • Download the volunteer applicaton from the Harborview website.
  • Complete the volunteer application packet-
    • The application
    • Two professionl references
    • A mandatory Washington state background check
  • Submit the completed application materials to the Department of Volunteer and Community Services.

Step 2: Screening

  • Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted.
  • If selected, you will be scheduled for an interview.
  • After the interview, you will be informed if you are accepted into the program.

Step 3: Placement

  • All volunteers are required to attend a general Volunteer Services Orientation.
  • A mandatory TB screening will be available at Orientation.
  • Once orientation is completed placement options will be discussed.
