The UW Medicine Neighborhood Clinics are a network of primary care clinics located in seven convenient neighborhood locations around the greater Puget Sound area. We are part of the UW Medicine system, which also includes the UW Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center, as well as UWMC-Roosevelt, Hall Health Primary Care Center and the UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center.
Our first clinic opened in January 1997, and the rest were opened within the next two years. All of the clinics use a state-of-the-art electronic medical record which allows patients to be seen at any of our locations without compromising the provider's ability to review the patient's complete health history.
The electronic medical record affords our patients several other benefits, including the immediate faxing of prescriptions from our clinic to your pharmacy, on-the-spot heath and wellness information that is customized to individual needs and then printed for the patient to take home, and built-in safeguards that help prevent adverse medication interactions, prescription errors, and overdue health maintenance tests.
The UW Medicine Neighborhood Clinics offer a complete spectrum of primary care services for the entire family - from pediatrics to geriatrics. In addition, we offer a wide array of ancillary services including on-site laboratory and x-ray facilities and nutrition services to help patients get care more efficiently.
All of our physicians are board-certified and all are active members of the UW School of Medicine faculty. Not only are our providers experienced practitioners of medicine, they are also up-to-date on the latest medical information, technology and treatment options because they are teaching medical students in one of the most highly regarded and competitive primary care programs in the nation.
