The mission of the University of Washington Medical Center Public Safety
Department is to provide security for patients, staff, and visitors of the
medical center.
This is accomplished by providing 24-hour security force service to prevent incidents that can cause harm to persons or property and to enforce the rules and regulations of the medical center, University of Washington, and the State of Washington in cooperation with the University of Washington Police Department.
