UW Neighborhood Clinics is a network of primary care clinics with nine neighborhood locations throughout the greater Seattle area. The clinics offer a complete spectrum of primary care services for the entire family, from pediatrics to geriatrics. They also offer ancillary services, including on-site laboratory and X-ray facilities and nutrition services.
UW Neighborhood Clinics physicians, providers and staff work to provide excellent health care and service to their patients. The clinics offer nurse triage, same-day appointments and online access to health-care information.
eCare is a secure web portal that allows patients to e-mail their health-care providers, make appointments, order prescriptions refills and check their medical history and lab results.
The clinics have earned four consecutive perfect accreditation scores for meeting nationally recognized standards of high-quality health care from the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. The clinics have also received two leadership awards from the health insurer Premera Blue Cross for continued participation and support in the Premera Quality Score Card program. In addition to recognizing the UW Neighborhood Clinics as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, The National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) has recognized 28 Neighborhood Clinics physicians for excellence in diabetic care.
The UW Neighborhood Clinics are part of the UW Medicine health-care system, which also includes Harborview Medical Center, Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, UW Medical Center, Valley Medical Center, the UW School of Medicine and Airlift Northwest, a specialized emergency transport program. UW Neighborhood Clinics physicians are board-certified, and are active members of the UW School of Medicine faculty.
