Teen Volunteer Program

Teens play a major role in the Volunteer Program at UW Medical Center. High school and middle school students, 14 and older, come from all over the greater Seattle area to participate in our volunteer program. Teens donate their time year long, volunteering after school, on weekends and/or during the summer months.

Teens volunteer as escorts, transporting patients, specimens and paperwork throughout the medical center. Most teen volunteers work at UW Medical Center, 1959 N.E. Pacific St. A few teens also work at UW Medical Center at Roosevelt, 4245 Roosevelt Way N.E.
