Make A Gift
The Regional Heart Center at UW Medicine is dedicated to the best in patient care, research and teaching. We owe much of what we achieve to the support of a generous community — to the support of people like you.
Donations help support patient- and family-centered care, breakthroughs in medical research, and the training of tomorrow’s physicians. And, by giving — perhaps in gratitude for care, or in memory of a loved one — you can help improve the lives of your friends, family and region.
If you would like to be our partner in improving health and changing lives, we recommend one of the funds listed below. Or, if you would like to learn more about giving to the Regional Heart Center, please contact UW Medicine Advancement at 206.543.5686 or meddev@u.washington.edu.
Thank you very much for your interest in our work.
Our priority funds
UWMC Heart Center Support Fund (HEAPRO)
Caring for our patients and for the health of our community is a tremendously important part of our work. This fund supports heart programs at UW Medical Center at the discretion of the executive director.
Help our patients and their families by supporting our programs.
Educational support
The future of cardiology and cardiac care will be determined by the doctors, researchers, and other medical professionals who come to UW Medicine for training. You can help us train the next generation of cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and anesthesiologists by giving to these funds:
Cardiology Fellowship Fund (CARFEL)
This fund underwrites educational expenses — such as books, journals, registration fees, and travel costs — for senior fellows in the Division of Cardiology.
Cardiothoracic Fellowship Fund (CTFELL)
This fund supports cardiothoracic fellows in the Department of Surgery.
Anesthesiology and Pain Residents II Fund (ANSFND)
This fund is used to educate residents and promote the residency program within the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Support our trainees and the future of medicine.
Research support
In supporting these funds, you’ll help our researchers investigate the causes of and potential treatments for cardiovascular disease, an illness that affects more than 70 million Americans.
Cardiothoracic Surgery Division Teaching and Research Fund (CTDTEA)
This fund supports teaching and research in cardiothoracic surgery.
Cardiology Research Fund (CARRES)
This fund supports research and training in the Division of Cardiology.
Invest in cardiovascular research.
