Patients, family members, and caregivers are welcome at
SCCA House for long or short-term housing. This affordable, convenient 80-unit facility is located close to
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in the South Lake Union neighborhood.

Patients receiving a transplant should contact
Transplant House for safe, convenient, and affordable housing for pre- and post-transplant recovery. Transplant House is a local nonprofit organization run by transplant patients. Contact the house by e-mail at

Medicaid Patients
Patients with Medicaid should contact their Medicaid provider to see if they are eligible for housing and transportation assistance. Arrangements and approval for Medicaid coverage for transportation and housing need to be made prior to coming to UW Medicine for treatment.
American Cancer Society Lodging Program
Patients receiving treatment for cancer and their family members may be eligible for free, short-term housing through the American Cancer Society. Call 1.800.ACS.2345 for more information.
