If you forgot your log-in name (UW NetID) and/or password?
If you forgot your log-in name (UW NetID), call the Help Desk 24 hrs/day at 206.685.5518. Note: they will not be able to reset your password; please follow the instructions below.
- To reset your password:
-
By phone (8 a.m.–8 p.m. weekdays, 1 p.m.–8 p.m. Sunday): Call the UW Information Technology Service Center at (voice) 206.221.5000, (TTY) 206.685.5352. You will be asked a series of questions to establish your identity.
-
Online (24 hrs/day): Go to the self-service password reset page at https://uwnetid.washington.edu/renew. You will need to answer the security questions you created when you enrolled in U-Link and established your UW NetID.
If your account was disabled (your log-on attempt resulted with “Authentication Failed. Please try again.”):
We have recently implemented new security measures to ensure the privacy of patient records and to be in alignment with HIPAA policies. As such, we are now requiring all U-Link users to transition to our new secure log-in system that uses a UW NetID. You should have received a letter and email with instructions on how to obtain your UW NetID. If you did not receive a letter or email, please contact the U-Link coordinator for assistance at 206.598.4731 (8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays) or
UWMCPL@uw.edu.
