The Senior Care Clinic at Harborview provides primary care to patients age 65 and older.
Comprehensive primary care services include the evaluation and management of health problems, physical exams, blood tests, immunizations, flu shots, foot care, illness prevention, treatment and management of acute and chronic diseases, and patient education.
Staff also provide one on one teaching about safety issues relevant to seniors, such as falls assessment and prevention; using their medications safely, and about conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
Health education is also available through the Harborview Patient and Family Resource Center
As part of the Senior Care Clinic, a Falls Prevention Clinic is being held on Friday mornings. This clinic provides falls/mobility assessment and planning to patients 65 years and older. Services include comprehensive assessment of fall risk factors, development of a management plan for identified risk factors, and follow-up to encourage adherence to recommendations.
Senior Care Clinic also offers a Healthy Bones Clinic for Osteoporosis and other skeletal health issues. For more information, please see the referral guidelines below or call the clinic (number below).

Appointments for the Harborview Senior Care Clinic, Falls Clinic or Healthy Bones Clinic may be made by calling the Senior Care clinic.
