Specialty Services
Services include the evaluation, management and education of patients through:
- Prenatal health care
- Routine and abnormal gynecology
- Routine pap smears (Dysplasia Clinic)
- Breast exams, screening, and mammograms (Breast Clinic)
- Necessary immunizations
- Treatment of acute and chronic problems
- Nutritional counseling
Special Services:
The clinic offers pregnancy testing, birth control, help for maternal and infant care needs, and health education. Pregnancy care includes delivery at the University of Washington Medical Center, with after-delivery and newborn care at Harborview.
Social Workers are available to assist with community and medical resources. Patient care coordinators will help with a variety of issues related to care, such as health insurance, coordinating appointments, and contacting other agencies.
A pharmacy located in the clinic is available for filling and renewing prescriptions (206-744-2282).
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program provides nutrition counseling and support (206-744-3548).
Interpreter service for non-English speaking patients is available at the clinic, and the Community Housecalls program coordinates outreach services for refugee and immigrant families.
The full services of UW Medicine are available for other specialty services or hospitalization.
