Can my teenager be seen at the Pediatric Care Center?
Our Pediatric Care Center provides comprehensive primary and specialty care for babies, children, and young people to age 21.
What types of services will my child receive at the PCC?
Well-child checkups and health screenings, physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses, developmental screening, immunizations, school and sports examinations, advice for behavioral and parenting concerns, and health-care management of chronically ill or disabled children.
Where can I get care if my child is sick after normal business hours?
Please feel free to call the Pediatrics Care Center anytime on our 24-Hour Access Line at 206-598-3030 with questions or concerns about your child. Our experienced pediatric nurses will answer your questions or refer your call to one of our doctors or nurse practitioners. The nurses can help you decide whether or not you should bring your child in or manage an illness at home. They can also give you helpful tips for managing concerns or issues you have in caring for your children.
Who should I call for Emergency Care?
Emergency care is available to your child 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In a life-threatening emergency (for example, if your child is having trouble breathing), call 911.
If you think your child needs to be seen immediately, but does not need an ambulance, call our 24-Hour Access Line at 206-598-3030. One of our pediatric nurses will determine how to obtain the best care for your child.
