The Harborview Breast Health Clinic in collaboration with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance offers a full spectrum of preventative, surgical, and other treatment services to patients.
The program provides continuity of care to allow patients to be seen for a variety of needs related to breast health. Consultation is available for both male and female patients of all ages with abnormal breast findings; lumps; discharge, pain, or skin changes; or pathologically confirmed cancer. The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team, including a nurse practitioner, surgeon, nurse, radiology and oncology physicians, obstetrical and gynecology residents, mammography assistant, and a medical assistant. Patient care coordinators are also available.
Health education is available for a variety of conditions either through the clinic or through the Harborview Patient and Family Resource Center.
The Harborview Breast Health Clinic also collaborates with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for diagnostic imaging and image-related biopsies. The full services of UW Medicine are available for other specialty care or hospitalization.
