The Cardiology Clinic at Harborview Medical Center provides consultation and follow-up care for patients referred to the clinic for cardiac-related issues. Services include the evaluation and management of cardiac-related health problems, patient education, and immunizations as needed.
Special Services
- Social worker to help with community resources and problems that may interfere with patients' ability to access health care.
- Anticoagulation monitoring. EKG done onsite. RN visits by appointment.
Referrals for cardiology diagnostic services including TEE, dobutamine stress echo, treadmill stress echo or treatmill can be scheduled by calling Harborview’s Cardiology Diagnostic Services at 206-744-8448 or by faxing to 206-744-5996.
Nuclear medicine stress tests can be scheduled by calling 206-744-2392. Tests and procedures will be ordered as necessary prior the patient's initial visit.
Harborview Medical Center's Cardiology, Radiology and Vascular Surgery departments are jointly providing Cardiology Diagnostic Services in Multi-Interventional Procedure Suites

Appointments and Referrals
The Cardiology Clinic is located on the 4 West Clinic Floor. Clinical appointments are seen on Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Nurses are available Monday through Friday.
Routine appointments may be made by calling the clinic (number below). Patients on managed care plans usually must be referred by a primary care provider. Self-referrals are acceptable in certain circumstances.
Providers making a referral should complete a UW Medicine Referral Request (PDF) and fax it to the clinic.
