Hansen's Disease Clinic at Harborview

The Hansen's Disease Clinic at Harborview provides specialty care for persons with Hansen's Disease (Leprosy). 

As a regional center, the clinic's services are available to residents of the Northwest states, including British Columbia.  The clinic is a comprehensively focused program with an emphasis on early intervention combined with preventative health education and chronic disease management. 

Services include:

  • Physical examinations
  • Laboratory testing
  • Six site smear testing
  • Treatment
  • Patient education
  • Coordination with Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Physical and Occupational Therapy, footwear, and orthotic devices, as well as outside non-clinical agency referrals.

Appointments and Referrals

Office hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings.  Appointments are on Wednesday, twice a month, 9:00 a.m. to noon.
