About this Clinic
The University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine's Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic at Harborview Medical Center offers evaluation and treatment for persons with physical disabilities and those with impairment secondary to a musculoskeletal injury.
Physical therapy providers are licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants.
Services include:
- Balance and ambulation training
- Fall Prevention program
- Flexibility and strengthening
- Mobility skills
- Movement control
- Home exercise instruction
- Evaluation and treatment of acute soft-tissue injury or sports medicine injuries.
- Manual therapy
- Post-partum musculoskeletal assessment
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Pelvic floor strengthening/Incontinence Program
- Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal assessment
- Fitness program for chronic conditions
- Bike fit and Running Gait Assessment
