Digestive Disease Center (UWMC)

About this Clinic

At the Digestive Disease Center, we offer a full range of consultations and procedures in the care of digestive disorders and problems of the gastrointestinal system. Many of these procedures involve using a tube to look into the gastrointestinal tract in order to diagnose, and in some cases, treat, problems of the digestive system.

See Colonoscopy Resources for details about your colonoscopy procedure.

Endoscopy procedures are used, for example, to discover the reason for swallowing difficulties, heart burn, bleeding, chronic indigestion, and abdominal or chest pain.

This clinic is a regional resource in gastroenterology care, and treats patients from all over the United States.

The Digestive Disease Center is located in the Surgery Pavilion. We welcome referrals from your physician for our specialty care.
