At the Lipid Clinic, all patients are seen by a faculty endocrinologist and by physicians receiving specialty training in endocrinology disorders. The Lipid Clinic is located within the Medical Specialties Center at UW Medical Center in Seattle. Any diagnostic tests and procedures patients may need are available at UW Medical Center.

In addition to treating adults with lipid disorders, thc Lipid Clinic specializes in the diagnosis of rare or complex metabolic conditions, such as familial forms of lipid disorders, and the management of patients with type 2 diabetes. Diet consultation is tailored toward the needs of individual patients.
