About this Clinic
At the Maternal & Infant Care Clinic (MICC), we offer a full continuum of pregnancy-related services and expertise to ensure you get the care you need, at the time you need it. Whether you choose to be cared for by Certified Nurse Midwives or OBGYN physicians our providers are committed to providing safe, respectful and family-oriented maternity care.
Should your pregnancy need high-risk care, our Maternal-Fetal Medicine program and the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers the region’s highest degree of care for high-risk mothers and babies. We are the only service in the state to have neonatologists and perinatologists in the hospital around the clock.
Because the MICC is the only academic OBGYN center in the state, we are a research center. This means we can offer our patients immediate access to state-of-the-art technologies should the need arise.
And, our nursing staff has held Magnet status for excellence in nursing since 1994, one of just 3 percent to be recognized out of the nation's 5,700 hospitals and healthcare organizations for excellence in nursing care. We were the first to be designated world-wide and are on our 4th reaccreditation as a Magnet hospital.
