Maternal and Infant Care Clinic

Services We Provide

Low- and high-risk obstetrical care is offered at the Maternal & Infant Care Clinic.

Obstetrical Care

Our medical staff is internationally known for its expertise in guiding high-risk women with medical complications or other difficulties through pregnancy, particularly those with diabetes or hypertension, and those at risk for giving birth too early. These clinics include:

  • Diabetes in Pregnancy Clinic includes two full-time perinatologists, Geralyn O'Reilly M.D. and Zane Brown, M.D., who have specialized skills in obstetric management of diabetic pregnancies, including obstetric ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and fetal intervention.
  • Obstetrical Hypertension Consult Clinic works with women and their obstetricians or midwives to develop strategies for lowering high blood pressure and monitoring the unborn baby. The goal is to prolong the pregnancy to full term. Women with other medical complications, such as kidney disease, asthma, lupus, or cardiac disease, also receive care in this specialty service.
  • Prematurity Prevention Program and Multiple Gestation Clinic - The Prematurity Prevention Program at the Maternal and Infant Care Clinic offers an outstanding prenatal program for families expecting multiples or families at other risk for preterm birth.
  • Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Therapy Service provides all patients or families who request or need it, a comprehensive, high-quality genetic counseling and prenatal diagnosis service.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III), where world-leading physicians offer care for special needs babies.
