The Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Center offers a full range of specialty services.

• Facial Nerve Disorders 
  We diagnosis, treat, and study facial paralysis and provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to patients with facial nerve disorders. Our physicians are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of facial nerve paralysis caused by skull base tumors, idiopathic facial nerve paralysis, degenerative neuropathy, and post-traumatic injury.  This is the first center devotd to facial nerve disorders in the Pacific Northwest.  For more information, please go to the Center for Facial Nerve Disorders web page. 
  
• Otology, Audiology, and Neurotology
  We specialize in comprehensive treatment of ear and hearing disorders. In our center, we provided specialized testing, diagnoses, and treatment options for every stage of hearing loss. From dispensing hearing aids and assisted hearing devices to an expanded cochlear implant program, your personalized care is backed by the knowledge and expertise of the UW's Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center. • Dizziness and Balance Center
  At the Dizziness and Balance Center, a variety of progressive diagnostic tests are available from which our physicians can assess a patient's vestibular function as it relates to the inner ear. In conjunction with physical therapy, we offer a rehabilitation program to help patients overcome the obstacles posed by balance disorders or hearing loss. • Head and Neck Surgery Center
  Each year, about 150 new patients receive care at our clinic for head and neck cancer. We offer a multidisciplinary treatment approach which includes UWMC Cancer Center experts in radiation oncology, medical oncology, maxillofacial prosthetics, and pathology. • Sinusitis and Sleep Disorders
  Our physicians provide diagnosis and treatment, including endoscopic sinus surgery, for patients who suffer from complex sinus diseases. We also offer laser surgery in our clinic for patients with sleep disorders due to snoring. • Special Laryngeal Testing, Treatment, and Rehabilitation
  Our physicians provide diagnoses and treatments for a wide range of voice disorders and throat problems including vocal cord paralysis, spasmodic dysphonia, vocal cord lesions, post-traumatic laryngeal abnormalities, and laryngeal airway disorders. • Facial Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery
  Reconstructive facial surgery is available for patients with facial deformities caused by trauma, cancer, or congenital defects. We also specialize in cosmetic facial surgery, including facelifts, rhinoplasty, brow/forehead lifts, laser skin resurfacing, lisposuction, and hair transplantation. Our new computer imaging system enables patients to see in advance what their appearance may be like after cosmetic surgery.
