At the Vascular Surgery Clinic (located within the Surgical Specialties Center in the Surgery Pavilion) patients are seen by faculty physicians with many years experience in treating patients with vascular conditions. Any diagnostic tests and procedures patients may need are available at here at UW Medical Center.
Among the vascular conditions we diagnose and treat are:
- Disorders of the arteries and veins of the legs and feet (for example, rest pain, varicose veins, and claudication –– leg pain OR cramps brought on by walking)
- Aneurysms
- Renal artery disease
- Mesenteric ischemia
- Carotid artery disease
- Cold sensitivity and vasospasm
- Chronic venous insufficiency (swelling, ulcerations)
- Lymphedema
