System Analyst, Resolute

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Non-Bargaining Unit Position

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Works with UW Physicians IS staff, users and IT affiliates to develop procedures, protocols and tools to ensure that the EPIC system is maintained accurately and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with business users in support of the Resolute Professional Billing application. Documents and communicates on-going business requirements. Identifies problems or areas of opportunity in both organizational processes and workflow, and technology.
  • Seeks input and feedback from business owners/stakeholders. Work with customer to thoroughly test and assure quality of applications. Develop and maintain productive and positive customer relationships.
  • Documents workflows and operational procedures.
  • Recovers from Production application problems per the rotating on-call schedule. This includes hours outside of the normal work day.
  • Completes special assignments and other related duties as requested by the Applications Manager/Administrative Director of Information Systems.
  • Conduct individual and classroom training for current and new users. Will train on all appropriate Epic applications including but not limited to: Resolute, Prelude and EpicWeb.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey a positive and professional image in person, on the telephone and in correspondence.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possesses certification in Resolute Professional Fee Billing (or will need to attend training and become certified within one year of employment).

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS: All non-management positions require adherence to the UWP Code of Conduct and UWP Billing Compliance Policies and related training requirements. Incumbents must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the confidentiality of employee information, UWP plans, initiatives, and financial information, and patient privacy rights. Job duties must be performed with minimum access to and use of UWP, employee, and/or patient information. Incumbents are required to promptly report all compliance concerns.
