Extensive resource links to regulations and topics in the responsible conduct of research are maintained in the Department of Bioethics and Humanities.

Training on the responsible conduct of research is offered through the Biomedical Research Integrity Program in the Department of Bioethics and Humanities.
 
A brief discussion of research ethics in human studies research is included in the Department of Bioethics and Humanities’ curriculum for medical students.

Numerous links regarding the Washington State Ethics Act are provided by the Office of Regulatory Guidance, and an analysis of the impact of the State Ethics Act of 2005 on research at UW is posted by the UW Office of Research.

UW policies governing the allowability and disclosure of any significant financial interest related to one’s research activities are administered in the School of Medicine by the Office of Regulatory Guidance.
