UW Medicine research activities are based in three main research sites.
UW Campus, Health Sciences Building
The Health Sciences Building is located on the southern edge of the University of Washington Seattle campus and is part of the University of Washington Medical Center complex. This is the historic home of the School of Medicine and its sister schools in the Health Sciences and is the starting point for many of its research programs.
Harborview Medical Center
Harborview Medical Center, located near downtown Seattle, houses a growing number of research programs.
UW Medicine, South Lake Union
The UW Medicine South Lake Union research site is located at the southern tip of Lake Union, just north of downtown Seattle. South Lake Union is home to a number of interdisciplinary research centers.
Shuttles are available between South Lake Union, UW Campus and Harborview Medical Center.
