Regulatory Guidance provides support and assistance within the School of Medicine to ensure compliance in the following areas:

Conflict of Interest
Research-related financial interests are subject to certain reporting and review requirements.

Outside Work
Faculty are required to obtain prior approval for personal outside work.

State Ethics Act
All Washington State employees are subject to Washington's Ethics in Public Service Act.

That policy prohibits a School of Medicine faculty member from serving as an author on any publication in which ghost authorship has occurred.
