Every year, we celebrate the generous donors who belong to UW Medicine’s Turner Society. This year, on Sept. 22, 2009, we had them come back to the classroom to learn about modern superbugs. And we recorded all of it: the facts on swine flu, how our faculty address infectious diseases, and an unforgettable tribute to West Side Story.

U.S. News & World Report Best Medical Schools 2010

The University of Washington School of Medicine ranks No. 1 in primary care.

In spring 2009, for the 16th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report's annual list of top graduate and professional schools ranked the UW School of Medicine as No. 1 in primary care. The UW also placed in the top 10 in family medicine, rural medicine, AIDS, geriatrics, internal medicine, pediatrics and women’s health.
